The Nightmare On Elm Street 2 Remake Trailer

During the San Diego comic-con this year we were witness to the official Paranormal Activity 3 Trailer and oh boy was it good! Personally I love the whole creep factor around the previous movies but this was just so much more creepier … or at least I thought it was!

I urge everyone to have a quick watch of the Paranormal Activity 3 Trailer which is due for release this October!

The Dream Gates have been opened and Freddy Krueger has been released again! Warner Bros. have uploaded the second Nightmare On Elm Street trailer and by the looks of things, Freddy is just as bad as ever! Nightmare On Elm Street was the monster in the nightmares of all teenagers in the 80’s and now with a remake he is on the verge of collecting the souls of a whole new generation.

From the new trailer we can see that the movie has some of those iconic scenes like the bathroom scene where Freddy’s gloved hand comes out from the water, or even the bedroom scene where Freddy’s next victim is pushed upwards to the ceiling! I am suspecting a horrifying start to a new chapter in the Nightmare On Elm Street movies!

Nightmare On Elm Street killer Freddy Krueger has been named ultimate horror villain by SFX Magazine. Freddy first started his killing treak in 1984 and is still the best at the job. Nightmare on Elm Street, as we all know, is being re-made and this announcement will just add to the pressure on Jackie Earle, who is the new Freddy taken over from Robert Englund.

We have finally got a picture of our new Freddy Krueger! We all know that Jackie Earle Haley has taken the stripped jumper and fedora hat from the legend Robert England, but what you all want to know is “Does he look like Freddy?” Well… Its too early to tell, the picture that has been released in not the best, but it gives us a sneak at what he looks like. Nightmare On Elm Street is famous for its dark scenes and here we are with a very dark scene!

From what we can see in the picture, you get a sense that the new Freddy will not be an exact replica of the old Freddy, which makes sense (Why do a remake and keep the main character the same?). I hope we get more pictures in the near future and I hope more that we get what we want and that is a dark and gruesome looking Freddy that we all believe will “Slash” the box-office when Nightmare On Elm Street hits the cinemas in April 2010.
